TIPS

Search your browser's pull-down menus for the following features if they are not immediately visible.

  • ADJUST FONT SIZE and COLOR: From the Preferences settings, you select the text font size and color.
  • FIND KEYWORDS: Use the Find function to search for a specific word in the open document.
  • RETURN TO NOAH: The Back button on your browser will take you back page by page. Go or History will allow you to choose a specific link from a menu of visited links.

NOAH'S HOME PAGE, BAR AND BUTTONS

  • NOAH'S HOME PAGE: As a unique bilingual (Spanish/English) health Web site, NOAH provides immediate access from its Home Page to consumer health information in both languages. It is a map on which every word or phrase that's hot leads you to a destination to be explored; just click to make your selection. Under NOAH PAGES you will find a description of each of the clickable options we provide for a friendly and easy navigation.

  • NOAH'S BAR: Appears at the top and bottom of every NOAH page. It is a map and every word/phrase is "hot". Click to make your selection.
    • Word Search
    • A - Z
    • Health Topics
  • "NOAH" BUTTON: Sits to the left of the Bar and provides direct access to the NOAH Home Page.

  • NYAM: Available from both the Home Page and the Bar. Links you to The New York Academy of Medicine's Web site.

  • NYPL: Available from both the Home Page and the Bar. This links you to The New York Public Library's Home Page, the bilingual Directory of Community Services, and the InfoTrac Health Reference Center (for NYPL patrons only) on NYPLGate.

  • "ESPAŅOL" BUTTON: Sits to the right of the Bar. Use it to access the Spanish version of the English document you are currently viewing (not all have been translated). When you are on the Spanish side of NOAH, an English button will appear in the same place to provide access to the English version.
